I think there is just about too much negative stuff being written about Gurgaon. Most of the problems of Gurgaon are those of the whole country then why just single out gurgaon?
I think Gurgaon rocks, more or less… barring a few hiccups.
It has lovely pubs, shopping malls and a rocking call centre crowd.
I am surprised at this article in Gurgaon.com

I am afraid the call centre and software industry is not feeling any cold. It is rocking.
Did anyone know that Gurgaon is getting a beer garden where freshly brewed beer will be served to customers. Just worried a bit about the frequent traffic jams – hope this is just due to the construction.
I was in Delhi last week at a friend’s party – pool party, if you will like details - and I heard a chap tell me that he had bought flats in Gurgaon in 2003 and now their price is 5 times! This looks like the most amazing opportunity – gone by now, ofcourse – to me… are you listening, Templeton. Ofcourse, he is and the real estate mutual funds are coming and they will drive the prices of real estate up everywhere in India.
With some new KPOs coming to Gurgaon, quite a few of my friends who live in Delhi and commute to Gurgaon for work, will probably shift to Gurgaon too. I am waiting a little bit more and then I will sell my investment here too…
